From Tuesday to Saturday, our kitchen serves authentic Mexican food, handmade with love by our talented team. Every dish reflects tradition, creativity, and the vibrant essence of our culture.
Whether you’re stopping by for a night out, a DJ set, a drag brunch, or just to unwind with a mezcal cocktail — Bar Cala is more than a bar. It’s a vibe, a gathering place, and a taste of Latin energy in Portland.

Reservations
We gladly accept reservations for large parties of 8-20 people.
Tuesday to Thursday: It’s mellow, and it’s super easy to make a reservation.
Friday and Saturday: We only accept two large party reservations per day, so we highly recommend booking in advance to secure your spot!

For smaller parties, we have plenty of seating options but have please send us a DM if you have any questions or special requests.
While we operate on an order-at-the-counter style, we’re happy to reserve a table for you. On Fridays and Saturdays, we offer a 30-minute grace period after your reserved time before the table is released to other parties, so please arrive on time.
